Durium Advertisement and custom records discography ( Hans Koert))

DURIUM used for its recordings a studio band directed by Bert Hirsch. This studio band was labelled with dozens of fantasy names - Los Castilians was one of it. It is even likely that Eduardo Gonzalez was a regular member of the band, with no more Mexican roots then eating some tacos now and then. .

Thanks to Patrick van G. ( from The Hague - The Netherlands) I can show you the label of the DURIUM DISCO 1005.

These records, labelled DURIUM DISCO, were released for export and for the large Spanish speaking US community. It was also exported, in large quantities, to Europe. In France Durium records were normally re-labeled. It seems as if a SEFONO 1005, does exist too.

Thanks Patrick for sharing this label with us.
